Hotel Fairfield Inn & Suites Cincinnati Uptown/University Area (Houston, USA)

The hotel is located off the IH-10 road from which guests can access other areas of Houston, including the vibrant and exciting Downtown Houston area which boasts a large selection of shops, bars and restaurants for guests to explore. A Walmart is across the road from the hotel and guests can utilise this to stock their room's fridge with whatever goods they desire. The hotel's proximity to the road and the nearby Walmart are aspects of the location that guest found convenient.

Guests were very taken with the friendly staff at Houston Inn & Suites who are all extremely personable and engaging, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that guests enjoyed. They are happy to talk with guests and recommend areas that might be of interest and they will accommodate queries and requests.

The hotel's price was considered to be good value for money, especially when considering the hotel's proximity to Houston's University campus and the Downtown Houston Area. Many guests felt that their stay was well worth the price they paid, especially when comparing it to other hotels in a similar area.

The Wi-Fi is very slow and unreliable and many guests found this to be annoying. The connection is intermittent and has a tendency to drop out. Inversely some guests did find the Wi-Fi to work fairly well for them.

A number of guests felt that the hotel looked somewhat rundown and could do with an update. They took note of the carpets which are stained and felt that these would benefit from a deep clean or replacing.

While many guests enjoyed the hotel's location, others found that the area in the hotel's immediate vicinity was rundown and intimidating. However, some guests weren't bothered by this.
