This hotel is just a short drive from the University of Michigan campus which is perfect if you are in town for a game day. This is also convenient if you have business at the University of Michigan hospital. It's also very close to I-94, downtown Ann Arbor, and Briarwood Mall. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby.

The hotel breakfast is simple, but good, and offers plenty of choices including the popular make your own waffles, as well as eggs, fruit, pastries, and cereals.

Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, and the bathroom is so small that the washbasin is located outside the bathroom.

Although this hotel has been recently renovated, the pool and hot tub area still need a bit of work to get them updated and up to speed with the rest of the hotel.

Guests report that getting a good night's sleep can potentially be difficult as the in room air conditioner is quite noisy, as is the mini-fridge. Guests recommend unplugging the fridge if you don't plan on using it.
