The rooms are spacious and many have been recently renovated. The units provide a comfortable night's sleep. There is personal and caring customer service and the reasonable price makes this a stay worth the money.

With such a cheap rate, you might not expect all the little extras that come with the room. However, each room has a microwave and fridge, plus a DVD with movie rentals from the main office. Many rooms have cheerful and charming fireplaces and the free hot breakfast sets the tone for a great day.

This hotel is only a couple of blocks away from the quaint and charming downtown area. Guests can easily walk to many restaurants and attractions. Plus, the entire area is beautifully scenic and worth the drive to get there.

The property does feel like a budget hotel, especially in the common areas. The entire place looks a bit rundown. Many fixtures and features are broken. Inside the rooms, the carpets are frayed and worn and the bedding is old and stained.

The doors throughout the property have issues, both for the bedrooms units and the bathrooms inside the units. Doors routinely have locking problems and it is even difficult to open and close them easily. The magnetic locks are frustrating as you'll likely have to get your card re-imaged several times during your stay.

While parking is free, it is likely to cause some frustrations. The spaces are very limited and those few available are hard to maneuver into. The lot is very hard for larger vehicles. Since the lot is shared with a nearby hotel, you may have to park elsewhere, like on a public street downtown, and walk back.
