Positive Reviews

positive:

Elegant and relaxing decor

Many guests comment on the décor, pretty much all of them positively. They liked that it was modern and unfussy, while still being classy. In any event, they found it relaxing, and were perhaps relived that it didn't clash with their sensibilities and put them in a bad frame of mind.

positive:

Rooms remarkably calm and quiet

Several guest mention that their rooms seemed remarkably quiet, considering the busy location near the auditorium. This is usually attributed to the design, focussing on the inner courtyard, but whatever the reason guests were certainly grateful for the absence of noise.

positive:

Good public transport to the centre

While the rooms seem to be used more by people who have business in the immediate area, there are good transport links to the heart of Rome, which many guests who were tourists found very handy.

Negative Reviews

negative:

Breakfast hours perhaps a little restrictive

There are several comments about the breakfast hours, which are from 8:00 to 10:00. Quite a few people who were in Rome on business felt that 8:00 was much too late to start serving breakfast. They needed to be out the door by that time.

negative:

Water escapes from the shower

While not listed as a major issue, a couple of guests point out that the bathroom floor was quite wet after they had showered, and they blamed the trendy, but impractical, design of the shower.

negative:

Very small property

There are only four rooms at Face to Face. While most guests are aware of this, some did still miss the facilities and atmosphere of bigger hotels. Face to Face is more suitable for guests who like a more intimate experience.
