Hotel Experimental Chalet (Verbier, Switzerland)

The staff at this hotel rated highly across a number of reviews and it seems from comments that the staff are willing to go above and beyond their usual duties.

The hotel offers a shuttle service to the ski lifts and many reviews from guests mentioned how friendly and curious the shuttle drivers were which made their trip to the ski fields easy and hassle free.  Some guests also mentioned how easy it was to let the hotel arrange all of their ski passes and ski gear prior to their arrival.

The hotel is a short five minute walk into the centre of Verbier village to its many restaurants and bars and a number of guests thought that this convenience was great, as they did not have to travel too far to experience village life.

Some guests who rely on Wi-Fi for their nightly entertainment or to stay in contact with family and friends during their vacation expressed their frustration in their reviews about the lack of free Wi-Fi in the rooms, with some commenting that for the price paid they expected better connectivity.

The majority of negative reviews focused on the nightclub that is attached to the hotel on its ground floor. Many visitors were not at all happy that the thumping music kept them awake till 4am when the club closes. The hotel management is well aware of the noise and offers free ear plugs to guests.

Some guests thought that for the price paid that the rooms were generally on the smaller side and these guests left comments that they would have liked a bit more space which would have made their stay more memorable.
