Eurostars Marivent is located in a hidden corner of the Bay of Palma on the island of Majorca and offers stunning panoramic views of the Mediterranean. Guests can choose from single, double or triple rooms, all of which have a balcony and some having a sea view. Rooms feature individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, television, safe, hairdryer and radio. Cots are available on request. It is approximately 650 yards to Cala Major beach and there is a bus stop just outside the hotel where guests can reach the centre of Palma in around 15-minutes. There are also some good restaurants just a ten minute walk away. The location is quiet and there are wonderful views from room balconies.
The staff are praised for being very friendly, very helpful and always greeting guests with a smile. The bar and restaurant staff are polite and courteous and the reception staff are given a special mention for helping with car hire and for finding information on the bus services.
The rooms are kept very clean and tidy and the housekeeping staff work hard to ensure that communal areas of the hotel are kept spotless.
At times there is a constant and stable signal throughout the hotel, whereas at other times you may struggle to get a decent signal and you may have to constantly login after your device has gone to sleep and you want to use it again.
The food offered at breakfast might leave you disappointed. Some guests felt that it was too expensive and others have said that it was far too basic and the same thing every day therefore there needs to be a bit more variety.
The rooms, and in particular the bathrooms, are starting to look quite old fashioned and quite tatty in places. They need a bit of an update to make them look more presentable.
