Picturesque setting, close to attractions.
The hotel is surrounded by 5 acres of private gardens which provide peace and tranquillity as well as a picturesque backdrop. Guests enjoyed the views of the gardens and the Team Valley from their rooms and were also pleased to find that that were just a short distance away from numerous local attractions including the Metro Arena and the Beamish Museum.

Guests were very complimentary about all the members of staff often mentioning individuals by name and thanking them for all their help and assistance. The waiting staff have been described as attentive and courteous whilst reception staff were said to be equally professional often going the extra mile to make the guests feel welcome and well-looked after.
