Staff at Embleton Spa couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. They will check you in very speedily and will do so with a smile on their face and an affable manner. They are always ready to go the extra mile to ensure you are having the best time possible.
While in a peaceful and tranquil location, you'll still be conveniently positioned for exploring the beautiful Lake District and its surrounding areas. The hotel is also just a five-minute drive to the middle of Cockermouth and not far from Keswick either
The hotel offers absolutely beautiful views. It is a lovely thing to wake up to if you happen to be one of the many rooms that boast such a vista. If not, you can just go up to the rooftop terrace.
While there is a swimming pool at Embleton Spa, it isn't always open to guests and is only available during limited hours. This means you might not be able to spontaneously utilise the facility.
There are some seriously creaky floorboards in this hotel, which get irritating pretty quickly. Also, noises do sometimes filter through from other rooms.
The Wi-Fi is hit and miss to say the least. In some places the signal is strong, elsewhere it is impossible to connect.
