The thing that guests seemed to most appreciate about the hotel was not an amenity or service, but rather the indescribable atmosphere of the place. While they couldn't set out exactly what it was, guests felt that the atmosphere at the hotel was very relaxing and they were very much at peace there.
This was a small gesture on the part of the hotel that really went a long way with the guests. They mentioned that there was complimentary tea, coffee wine and delicious snacks available in courtyard throughout the day. For them, it made an already charming area so much more so, since they could pour themselves a glass of wine and find a great spot in the courtyards to just relax.
While most guests mentioned that the room rate at Emblematico is quite high, no guest felt they received poor value. On the contrary, many mentioned that their stay was so good that they felt they received excellent value for money.
The hotel provides free parking for its guests. While they certainly appreciated this, they mentioned that it was a few minutes walk away. Some found this a little awkward.
A surprising number of guests travelling in winter mentioned that both their rooms and the public areas were just a little too cold for their liking.
This really wasn't a complaint since guests staying here did realise before booking that they were booking in a quite town away from the coast. But they do point out that there is really no nightlife to speak of, either at the hotel or anywhere remotely close by.
