Many guests commented that their rooms were spacious, clean daily by housekeeping and well presented. The beds are comfortable and amenities such as a fridge and in-room tea and coffee were a welcome convenience.

Guests reportedly favorably on the complimentary breakfast which was freshly prepared each morning, as well as the complimentary evening reception where you can relax at the bar with a drink and pre-dinner appetizer. Tea and coffee were also available in the lobby throughout the day.

The staff are friendly, respectful and always available to answer questions and provide assistance, including information and directions to local attractions.

Despite other positive reviews, many guests complained about the low standard of cleanliness, reporting that the rooms were not always cleaned thoroughly. Complaints included that the fridge and microwave area was not reliably cleaned, with sticky spills and food crumbs found on the surfaces from the previous occupants. At times the furnishings were found to be dusty, mold was found growing in the bathroom and some rooms also smelled musty.

Some guests reported that the furnishings were old and outdated. In some rooms the wallpaper was found to be peeling, the carpets and curtains were old and stained. Guests also complained of dim lighting which added to the rooms dark and gloomy appearance. From time to time the elevators have also been known to be out of order.

Guests complained that the air conditioning units are noisy and may be disturbing when you're trying to get to sleep.
