Hotel Embassy Suites by Hilton Auburn Hills (Auburn Hills, USA)

This hotel provides excellent access to the Auburn Hills area. It's across from the Silverdome and near where the Detroit Pistons play basketball. It's conveniently located near the freeway which is good if you're attending a concert at DTE. Outlet shopping is close by at Great Lakes Crossing Mall.

Rooms are large and clean, with lots of natural light, flat-screen TVs, and a full size work space. Bathrooms are excellent and come with complimentary toiletries.

Staff at this hotel are courteous and helpful. They'll go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Whether it's directions you need or a restaurant recommendation, this staff is eager and ready to help.

Soundproofing can be a problem, especially if your room opens up to the atrium where you can look down on the lobby. Thi si where the hotel bar is, and the noise travels upward. Bring earplugs or request a room at the rear of the hotel.

The pool and hot tub area is getting older an in need of updating. The ceiling needs to be replaced as paint chips fall into the pool. The area can also get crowded and noisy very quickly.

Some rooms are dated and have not been refurbished to match the rest of the hotel. Wallpaper is peeling, grout and bathroom tiles need to be replaced, and some furniture is stained. Not all rooms are like this, so request an updated room.
