Hotel Eliseo (Rome, Italy)

The posh 4-star hotel Eliseo is conveniently located in the Ludovisi district within a three-minute stroll from Villa Brghese Gardens and less than a seven-minute walk from the Barberini metro station. For guests travelling by automobile, the hotel provides convenient indoor parking for a modest fee. The well appointed rooms receive high praise for the comfort and convenience amenities provided including a free Wi-Fi, a mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities and en suite bathrooms with complimentary designer toiletries. You will love this hotel.

Guests say upon arrival at the elegant hotel, they are immediately made to feel welcome and valued with the staff extending every effort to ensure guests are settled in and comfortable. The staff is described as friendly, attentive and accommodating with out complaint.

Guests remark that the hotel exhibits an old-fashioned understated elegance. The hotel is furnished with traditional antique-styled wooden furniture and lots of genuine antique decorations and quirky artworks. The hotel serves a hot, complimentary breakfast that is bountiful and fresh and room service is available if you would like to have breakfast in bed with the morning papers.

Some guests said that the decor is dated and could use a fresh look with attention to maintenance and landscape issues. Others noted litter around the hotel entrance that was off-putting. The lounge area and reading room are a nice touch appreciated by guests, however, both areas are rather dark and grim rather than warm and inviting.

Guests comment that the hotel does not provide any free parking spaces and to find a no-cost spot within walking distance of the hotel is difficult.

Guests complained the Wi-Fi does not work dependably. Service is good in public areas but does not work in all the rooms.
