The location is the main attraction however, as it provides easy access to local points of interest and a convenient distance to the airport.

Although El-Rancho features an open motel-style layout, there are still some issues regarding the amount of available parking spaces. When the hotel is at its busiest some guests have to park on the side of the road where it is less safe.

Noise is quite a big issue at this hotel as the thin room walls do very little to keep exterior noises out. Noisy neighbors and other guests coming and going at all hours adds a great deal to a disruptive environment, not recommended for business travelers or those that need to be up early for a flight.

El Rancho Inn Hawthorne does not offer any free breakfast options on site and only offers a few vending machines containing a variety of light snacks and drinks. The area however does offer a number of well-priced eateries within walking distance of the property.
