El Capistrano boasts beautifully groomed grounds and great landscaping with lots of greenery. Most guests were very impressed with the property. The public areas have been carefully designed and are pleasant to be in, especially the pool area. Guests say the pool is absolutely perfect for a relaxing day, and not crowded at all. In addition, there are comfortable sun loungers available for hire.
The rooms at El Capistrano are basic but clean and well-equipped and spacious. Guests loved the kitchenette and those that had air conditioned rooms really appreciated it. If you're staying with a large group or with your family, guests highly recommend getting a villa for a wonderful relaxing stay.
Make sure to stop by for a drink at the pool bar - guests love the large range of drinks and snacks and the tasty creative cocktails. The friendly staff only perfect the experience. In addition, guests also enjoyed the onsite restaurant and bar, with delicious food and especially succulent meat dishes.
While most guests were pleased with their accommodations at El Capistrano, saying that the rooms are pretty and well-equipped, many think that the rooms could use some updating. The décor and furnishings often appear dated and worn.
The location of the hotel is a bit secluded from the town centre but still easy to get to. Guests say it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to walk from the city centre to the hotel, however the walk back to the hotel is up a steep hill and not for everyone. Fortunately, the area has good bus connections, and it is also easy to take a taxi back as well.
Guests advice to keep in mind that the property does not have a lift and there are lots of steps throughout.
