Built in 1877 and located in the former home of Edward VII, the Hotel Edouard 7 features an elegant atmosphere highlighted by impeccable guest service.
All rooms in the hotel either have one double or two twin beds, plus a shower or bath. Wi-Fi access is available, and some rooms offer gorgeous city views with a balcony to enjoy them. The flat-screen TVs feature international channels, and the bathrooms come with slippers and robes.
The hotel has a fitness room, and guests can also book massages. There’s also a business centre with an iMac computer.
Guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet daily. Additionally, the La Cuisine de l’E7 Restaurant serves lunch and dinner. There’s an on-site cocktail bar, too.
Less than a five-minute walk from the Opera metro station, the Hotel Edouard 7 is within walking distance to the Louvre. The Nelson Mandela Garden is also nearby.
The employees are extremely accommodating, even when that means doing their best to meet needs that are asked for on short notice. Also, if you're not fluent in French, don't worry. Guests said that staff members throughout the hotel were very patient and

Get Cleansed With a Powerful Shower.
It's sometimes hard to find a shower with good water pressure when you're away from home, but that common problem shouldn't hold true at this property. Guests said the showers were very reliable and helped them feel refreshed at the start or end of a day.
The Rooms Don't Have Great Lighting.
Although guests only found this to be a minor issue, some commented that the lighting isn't sufficient so the rooms aren't well lit. This characteristic may have been meant to have artistic merit, but guests usually just found it mildly frustrating.
Thin Walls Compromise Privacy.
Because the hotel doesn't have adequate soundproofing for its walls, guests sometimes found they were able to hear conversations that were taking place on the other side. You may also be distracted by noises from phones and alarm clocks.
The Wi-Fi Connection Process is Tricky.
The hotel has a Wi-Fi service whereby you have to enter a separate access code for each of the devices you want to connect. Furthermore, guests said once they were able to get connected, the speed was very slow and only good for doing basic tasks.
