Many guests liked the cleanliness of the rooms and found the rooms to be okay for the price. Some rooms have been remodelled, so you might want to ask for a newer room.

The location is really convenient for a trip to this area. The state ferry is not far from the hotel to cross over to the other side of the lake. Many historic sightseeing attractions are easily to reach by car. Entertainment opportunities and restaurants can be reached on foot from here.

Access to a small indoor water park in another hotel on the same property, free full breakfast and free parking also for bigger vehicles like motorhomes or trucks are amenities that many guests liked and were happy about.

Many guests had trouble with the Wi-Fi. It seems to be really good near the front desk and main building, but if you have a room not directly next to it it starts to fade out. You might want to secure other means of connectivity.

While David the manager received many positive reviews apparently some of the front desk staff could do with some training in customer service. Guests were not always happy with answers to little problems provided and felt that the staff did not always care.

Some guests felt that the breakfast was neither well restocked nor looked after very well or cleaned up. It might get busy during breakfast. If you don't care to wait, you might want to venture somewhere else.
