This hotel is a great base for day trips to New Bern, Wilmington, Beaufort, and Emerald Isle.

This hotel has several unpleasant odors, especially in the hallways and rooms which smell a bit moldy and like mildew. The third floor mixes smoking and non-smoking rooms, so it smells like an ashtray even if you are in a non-smoking room.

Many of the bathroom tubs drain quite slowly for some reason, and water will accumulate at your feet while showering, which as you can imagine, can be very disgusting.
