For the most part, the rooms were highly regarded by past guests that stayed at the Econo Lodge. As well as being clean, the rooms at the hotel have been described as comfortable and well-equipped.

Most former visitors were happy with the level of service they received from the hotel's front desk personnel. The staff members were generally considered to be welcoming and accommodating for the most part.

With both downtown Brunswick and Jekyll Island a short drive away, the location of the Econo Lodge was typically praised by previous guests. Furthermore, and despite its position off the I-95, the hotel was reported to be in a quiet area, while various dining options are also within walking distance.

Although it is inclusive with the price of staying, the Econo Lodge's continental breakfast was not seen in the best light by most past visitors. As well as the quality being criticized, the variety of the breakfast in particular was lambasted on a regular basis.

The unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke has proven to be an issue for numerous former guests that have stayed at the hotel. Whilst it was the accommodation's hallways that were mainly afflicted, it has also been reported on the odd occasion that the non-smoking rooms were also plagued by the pungent smell of smoke.

If you are looking for an accommodation that provides an extensive amount of recreational facilities such as a lounge, fitness center and swimming pool, the Econo Lodge is far from the best choice. Yet as a no-thrills base, most found the hotel to be acceptable for their needs.
