Accept it for what it is - a farm. Come down a couple of gears, relax into farm life and you'll feel happier about what is on offer here. The owners are very friendly and the rooms, whilst quite old, are surprisingly clean. Everything looks older ... partly because the large flat-screen TV is brand spanking new and shows up like a sore thumb!
Apart from the birds singing, there's little or no noise here. Now, that's a novelty to savour! Remote? Yes it is; but that's another feature to enjoy.

In fairness, it is reasonably priced. However, everything is very basic and furniture, for instance, is a total mismatch of items, with no thought given to any sense of style. The bathroom is old and dated … and so are the uncomfortable beds.
The so-called ‘romantic cottage' will put any relationship to the test. This is poetic licence gone mad! Windows are tiny and filthy - as befitting a cell. Either there's nothing to do or it's a secret. Certainly, there is no tourist information supplied. Neither is it the sort of place where a single woman would feel happy. A bit eerie at night.
Very poor signage from the motorway makes this place very difficult to find. Once you do get here, the garden is overgrown and the place is swarming with flies. Open the door for some fresh air and … whoosh! In they come ... and followed by a multitude of mosquitos.
