The staff are friendly and courteous and do try to take care of your issues. In fact, they are surprisingly sympathetic to your needs.

The price is extremely reasonable. If you need a budget place to lay your head whether you are at the hotel for business or leisure, you will feel right at home. You get free local calls as well.

The hotel location is actually quite convenient. You are close to the freeway, close to the Crystal Palace, and you have restaurants like the IHOP across the street.

There's an extra charge for Wi-Fi and it's not exactly cheap either. It's strange since the hotel is such a low price. Perhaps they are making up for the price with the Internet charge. In addition, the Wi-Fi is iffy at best!

The security at the hotel needs to be beefed up. There are a lot of seedy, dodgy, people that hang around, which can make you feel fearful and nervous. Noise and thuggish behavior is not uncommon. You may also encounter people begging for money. It's just not a good look. Not only that, checking your car to make sure it's still there from time to time is probably a good idea.

Don't be surprised to encounter cockroaches roaming around as if they own the place. You may also have a problem with hot water in the shower and funny smells in the room.
