If you happen to be traveling with your pets, then Durango Travelodge will be ideal. Guests who had their pets with them said the back rooms on the ground floor were ideal, and offered easy access to the outdoors.

You can be pretty sure you will come back to a spotlessly clean and tidy room at this motel, as many guests have complimented the house-keeping staff on a job well done. Bed linens are fresh and even the bathroom gets freshened up every day with an air freshener.

If you enjoy a hearty start to the day, then the breakfast at Durango Travelodge will be just what the doctor ordered. Guests love the huge variety on offer, while others said they enjoyed the hot and cold dishes, and freshly cut fruit.

Quite a few visitors complained about really noisy water pipes, and said they were often disturbed at night while sleeping. Every time one of the guests turned the tap on to shower, the pipes would echo at the side of the building. Make sure you bring your ear plugs.

Some travelers felt the soundproofing between the rooms was not adequate enough, and were not pleased at all that they could hear their next door neighbors’ conversations. Make sure you bring a set of ear plugs with on your next visit.

Some of the rooms as well as the hallways did have a very old, damp smell according to quite a number of guests. If you find yourself in one of these rooms, ask the friendly staff at reception if you can change to a room that's already had a bit of a facelift.
