Hotel Du Centre - Chez Janie (Roscoff, France)

The hotel is situated right on the waterfront, and many guests remarked that the view over the harbour was exceptionally pretty. Guests with rooms facing that way were well pleased.

Quite a few guests checking-in had come off the ferry from Cork or Plymouth and were looking for a place at an inn. While not right by the ferry terminal, it was described as very nearby, and guests looking for a layover before continuing on their journey found it very convenient.

Again and again guests complimented the staff for the excellent service they rendered. They were said to be very friendly and also, more importantly, to have an excellent knowledge of the surrounding area that they were very happy to share with their guests.

A couple of guests with rooms on the upper floors pointed out that there was no lift in the building. There was said to be no assistance forthcoming with respect to getting luggage up there, so guests should note that they may have some climbing with heavy suitcases to do.

While, surprisingly, not considered a major issue, several guests were unhappy with the Wi-Fi system, saying that it was very unreliable, leading to frustrating times when they would lose their connection at the most inopportune time.

These were sorely missed by a few guests who would dearly have liked to be able to have made themselves a quick cuppa with no fuss or bother.
