Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Portland Tigard (Tigard, USA)

The hotel is directly across the road from the Washington Square Mall and those guests who like to shop reviewed the hotel positively, owing to its proximity to the shops, where great bargains were to be had.

The staff at the hotel rated highly across a number of reviews with many remarking that the standard of service was excellent. It seems staff are willing to go above and beyond their normal duties to make sure that guests felt at home and had a pleasant stay.  Some guests commented that they got that home away from home feeling!

The free parking at the hotel was appreciated by many previous visitors who mentioned that it took the stress out of their visit,  and helped them to continue their onward journey with ease.

Guests who did not get a good night's sleep during their stay at the hotel or who were disturbed due to the noise coming from their loud neighbors did not leave positive reviews. Some suggested that the hotel needs to invest in more sound-proofing between rooms to make sure that guests are comfortable.

Guests who stayed at the hotel were not overly impressed by the standard of cleaning of the rooms with many commenting that for a Doubletree they expected better standards than what they encountered.

A number of guests thought that the hotel lacked a certain quality for the price point that it was in, when compared to other hotels in the area. Some suggested that the hotel was run down and in need of upgrades.
