A warm welcome to Scotland is on the cards at the Queensferry Hotel. Guests comment favourably on everyone from the reception and waiting staff to the housekeeping team. The hotel occasionally seems a little short staffed but those staff that are on duty carry on with a smile on their face regardless.
The Forth rail bridge couldn’t really be any more iconic (it was recently awarded World Heritage Site status). If you’re lucky, you’ll have a view of it from your guest room. Furthermore, other attractions such as Edinburgh city centre are easily accessible.
The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment (August 2015), so you may encounter some minor frustrations due to work taking place. Also, there seems to be lots of building work going on nearby. This will presumably improve the area but in the meantime, it’s something of a nuisance.
