Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte Airport (Charlotte, USA)

The hotel is a classic airport hotel which offers free shuttle services and great transit services and a number of guests who stayed here were on layovers and/or delayed. Guests rated the shuttle service positively and remarked that the hotel was handy to the airport.

A number of guests stayed here at the last minute due to delayed travel plans and these guests commented that the staff were very friendly and helpful in finding last minute accommodation before their onward journey. Guests also remarked the staff were professional and courteous.

Guests who ate at the hotel,  rated the breakfast very highly with many guests commenting that the prepared food was cooked to order, fresh and tasty and their experience would see them return to the hotel again and again.

Guests commented that they thought that the range of amenities in the rooms was limited. Guests who stayed on non membership floors did not have a microwave or refrigerator and commented that these items would have made their stay more comfortable.

The hotel did not rate highly across reviews regarding its standard of cleaning.  Guests complained via their comments that the rooms were dirty, there was settled mould in the shower and that the rooms needed a deep clean.

A common complaint amongst previous guests who left reviews was that their room request (which they had stipulated for one reason or another) was not honoured.  Guests did not get the bed configurations or the rooms that they thought they would which left them frustrated and annoyed.
