About Hotel Domus

Hotel Hotel Domus is only a few metres from the beach in Pedregalejo and located in the province of Malaga on Spain’s Costa del Sol. Hotel Domus rooms are en-suite and simply furnished in a clean cut, contemporary style.  They include colour television, Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning. The hotel offers luggage storage and laundry services. Wi-Fi extends throughout the hotel and there is wheelchair access to the building. Breakfast is continental in style and includes tea, coffee and warm croissant. Later, the cosy Hotel Domus Lounge serves a range of drinks.  These  may also be enjoyed in the attractive garden. The centre of Malaga city is 2.5 miles away and is easily and cheaply accessed by bus.  More locally, there are the museums themed with the influences of Picasso and Thyssen and almost on the doorstep; a number of attractive bars and restaurants.

Cheap bus journey.

From Malaga city’s bus or railway station, the number 3 bus is the one to look out for. After the bus has turned from Calle Bolivia on to Sebastian Elcano … get off. The hotel is then a 5 minute uphill walk.

Well equipped rooms.

Simple but adequately furnished, rooms are usefully equipped with air conditioning. They are clean with comfortable beds and higher floor rooms are less likely to suffer from any noise, or, indeed insects!

Very obliging staff work hard to keep the place clean and they are always happy to help out if you have any queries.

Room feels like a cell + there’s no reprieve.

Rooms are very small and dark, due to lack of window space and natural light. They do have a cell like quality.

Parking the hire car can be a problem; there’s no car park here and street parking is very difficult.

In need of a refurb.

Rooms, furnishings and décor are tired and dated. That’s the problem with contemporary; it can date drastically and very quickly.
