The accommodation has a barbeque grilling area where guests can cook up a meal and converse with others staying at the inn. From a friendly and jovial welcome on arrival to apparently always being willing to help out with any questions/enquiries, the inn's staff has received a lot of praise overall.

For close proximity to the famous Wildwood Boardwalk and beach, the Dolphin Inn is an ideal choice. Along with being a stone's throw away from those aforementioned areas, the accommodation is less than 15 minutes away from the likes of Morey's Pier & Beachfront and Wildwoods Convention Center.
Although it is not a unanimous opinion, some past visitors to the Dolphin Inn felt that the beds were not comfortable. From being too hard to being too small, the beds are seemingly one of the few aspects stopping the rooms from being ideal.
While the inn offers coffee in the morning, a number of guests were displeased that a breakfast option was not provided. With that said, the accommodation is a short walk from many eateries which lessens this negative to an extent.
