Hotel Disney's Old Key West Resort (Lake Buena Vista, USA)

The standard rooms, studios and villas are spacious and provide all the necessary amenities such as air-conditioning, blackout curtains, free Wi-Fi and also have balconies, some with beautiful views. The multi-bedroom villas are also equipped with kitchens and Jacuzzis, which guests found to be quite nice to have during their stay.

Guests liked the fact that they could hop onto the hotel shuttles, which transported them across all Disney properties. Free parking and extended visiting hours at Disney World were another huge hit with many guests. In case you don't want to spend too much time on a bus, you'll be happy to know that guests reported the water ferry that connects to Downtown Disney was a lot faster.

Guests liked the large main pool with its beach atmosphere and the fact that there are multiple satellite pools spread across the property.

A few guests noted that dining options weren't extensive enough, since room service wasn't available and there weren't many delivery or restaurant choices. This didn't bother those guests who opted for full kitchens and didn't require restaurant meals.

Several guests noted that the roads run alongside the buildings, so they could hear the buses go by and drop off passengers even at night. They also reported that some of the rooms, particularly the studio apartments, had connecting doors, which were not soundproofed and therefore allowed all the noise from the other apartment to be heard.

Some guests thought their rooms were not clean enough, as they found leftover clothing and personal items, and the bathrooms had stains and mold in the sinks, tubs, and corners.
