Discovery Lodge is a family owned motor lodge just a short walk from Estes downtown and Lake Estes. Motel units and suites provide flat-screen TV with premium cable, free Wi-Fi, private bathroom with shower/tub combination and toiletries and a fridge. Some rooms come with a view or fireplace. Estes Park is in the Rocky Mountains National Park and many short trips to attractions within the park are not a problem from this location. Many guests liked the peace and quiet while still being able to enjoy some shopping and restaurant visits.

Some rooms seem to have sliding glass doors as the main entry door, which made some guests a bit nervous. Estes Park is not a place known for a lot of criminal activity but if you prefer a solid door you might want to defer from the motel rooms.
