Diana City is a small, colourful hotel that provides affordable accommodations in Sorrento. Each of Diana City's guest rooms are appointed with with an en-suite bathroom, a TV with satellite channels, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, and a hairdryer. Single, double, triple, or quadruple rooms are available, so guest travelling in parties large and small can be accomadated. A car and motorbike rental service is available on-site. Guests have use of the nearby wellness centre and the nearby beach access. The hotel's self-serve breakfast means guests can eat whenever they feel like it. While the hotel is not right in the centre of Sorrento, but on its edge, the village is so small that it is still only about a five minute walk to its very heart. Guests mention that it is especially easy to find since it is simply at the end of the main street, and a quick walk from the railway station.
The host, Annalisa, was said to be not only welcoming and friendly, but even more important, professional and efficient. Guests seemed to feel immediately at ease after meeting her, with the confidence that if any issue arose iit would be quickly and satisfactorily addressed.
A couple of guests mentioned that there was a coffee machine in the hallway that enabled them to make themselves a quick hot beverage whenever the mood struck. It was said to deliver a fairly good cup of coffee for a vending-type machine.
This was more something guests reported, rather than complained about. It was said the rooms were fairly small, and best used mainly for bathing and sleeping.
While it didn't seem like it was a major issue for any guests commenting on it, several do highlight the fact that there is no lift in the building. This means quite a climb for those on the top floor, while those with mobility issues may not be able to be accommodated.
Like most hotel Wi-Fi systems, the one at Diana City did come in for a bit if criticism. While coverage was said to be OK, reliability seemed to be an issue, with some guests saying they would lose the connection every now and then.
