Hotel Delos Reyes Palm Springs (Palm Springs, USA)

Although this is an older building, guests described the accommodations as clean, comfortable and quiet. While noting that it definitely wasn't a luxury establishment, most felt it offered good value for a one or two night stay. They enjoyed relaxing poolside, or exploring Palm Spring's numerous attractions.

Just a few minutes drive, or an easy walk, to Palm Springs restaurants and attractions, the hotel is well located for visiting the area. Noting that Palm Springs can be noisy, guests said they appreciated the quiet and peaceful location and most enjoyed a relaxing stay.

Several guests mentioned Steve, the pool guy, by name and appreciated his friendly demeanor. Other staff members, especially at the reception desk, earned praise for their help and efficiency.

When temperatures in Palm Springs soar into triple digits, air conditioning is the essential ingredient to a comfortable stay. Some guests complained that room units were ineffective or didn't work at all. Others reported finding the rooms stifling upon arrival and that it took hours for the temperature to cool to an acceptable level.

This is a 1950's era motel and several guests felt it was definitely past its prime. They complained about peeling paint in the bathrooms, old and discolored bath tubs, old fixtures, worn furniture, stained carpets and a generally dated feel. Some guests noted that the motel has no handicapped accommodations such as ramps and designated parking spaces. Others reported loose handrails on second floor balconies.

Guests reported the smell of cigarettes in non smoking room, broken ice machines, non working TV remotes and weak Wi-Fi signals. Some guests were less than inspired by the complimentary breakfast and would have liked more selection.
