According to guests, the location of this property is perfect because it peaceful but not too far from the beach and from Bangla Street where the main bars and clubs are located. The location is secluded without being too far away from the action. Plus, the atmosphere here is tropical and homey!
The two well-maintained swimming pools on-site are loved by previous guests. The pool area has lounges and beds where guests can relax as well as a cocktail bar with great happy hour specials. Thus, guests are delighted that they can actually spend an entire day inside without going out.
Guests enjoyed the breakfast that had lots of variety. According to them, it was beautifully presented and was even better than breakfast at a more expensive hotel. Half of the wide selection of food was for vegetarians so it was healthy and tasty.
Many guests complained about different problems with the air conditioning system. Some units were too noisy and were not cooling the rooms properly while others had leaks. This was a big problem during hotter days. Worse, the resort had no fans to compensate their malfunctioning air conditioners.
Since the property has a tropical garden with trees and plants, there are lots of mosquitoes and bugs inside and outside the rooms. Thus, many guests had to request for the room to be sprayed with insecticides.
There were many complaints regarding the free Wi-Fi on-site. Guests said the Wi-Fi was always slow to the point that it was not even working. Moreover, guests had to get Wi-Fi password from the reception every day.
