Dawson House Lodge built in 1929 enjoys travelers from all over the world. Only 25 miles from Crater Lake National Park we are a popular place to stay for those visiting the park & wanting to enjoy the many outdoor wonders in our area. Hikers, fisherman and 2 & 4 wheel bikes enjoy the area in the summer while the winter attracts fisherman, hunters, snowmobiling & skiers. We are one block from the Amtrak Station in the center of town. Each of our rooms are unique and decorated in different themes. Our upstairs veranda is a favorite place to sit back, relax and just enjoy your day. Whether you need to sleep 1 or 8 we have a room to suit your needs. We have had many family reunions here as people enjoy the ability to gather in the Porter Loft where they have a full kitchen to prepare meals and other family members can retire to one of our other unique rooms in the evening. Dining is available at KJ’s Café, across the street and The Chalet Restaurant and Lounge is 2 blocks south of the Lodge. Double D Mountain Market and Liquor store has a great Deli and good variety of groceries as well as fishing and hunting licenses and fishing supplies and is right across the street.
