DaVinci boasts a city central location in Old Town Zurich, and most guests found it very convenient for exploring the town on foot. You will be just steps away from many restaurants, bars and shops. A supermarket is also located nearby. In addition, the hotel is convenient to many public transportation links.
Overall, guests were pleased with the accommodations provided at DaVinci. Most guests described their rooms as clean and equipped with necessities like a mini-fridge. Guests also highly recommend getting an ensuite room, as the shared bathrooms are not always on the same floor as the rooms.
The staff at DaVinci is said to be friendly, helpful and accommodating. Guests said that they are eager to address any concerns and willing to respond to additional requests.
Though most guests did not have a problem, some said that select rooms are noisier than others. Guests mainly reported being bothered by the next-door nightclub, located on the ground floor of the hotel, which often has loud music playing late into the night, as well as crowds of people. Other guests also said that they could heat hallways traffic and neighbours quite well too. As a precaution, it's a good idea to pack along some earplugs, especially if you're a sensitive sleeper.
There is no lift onsite and some guests found the number of stairs to get to the second floor to be tiresome. In addition, the stairwells have pool lighting. If you have lots of heavy luggage or trouble with stairs, you may want to request a lower floor room.
Pay attention when looking for the hotel. Guests said that the entrance can be hard to find, as it a small door, located between two businesses.
