If you're looking to base yourself in the South Cliff area of Scarborough then this hotel will no doubt suit your needs perfectly. As well as being close to both the train station and the town centre, this hotel is also within very easy reach of the grand Spa complex and the beach via the cliff lift.
If you're someone who enjoys a view then opt for one of the guest rooms on the north side of the hotel: numerous guests have said the views from across the resort from here are just lovely!
The majority of guests have remarked upon the excellent levels of service and highly personable approach of the team working here. The bubbly receptionists and exceedingly efficient waiting staff earned the highest plaudits.
In keeping with the general theme of being just a teeny-tiny bit stuck in the past, this hotel has yet to embrace a Wi-Fi system which is capable of being accessed in all accommodations. If you want to get online here then you'll have to log-on in one of the public areas.
