Visiting the Cumberland Inn and Museum happens to be quite an interesting find. The two-storey on-site museum in the precincts of the hotel exhibits masterfully preserved specimens rendered in their natural habitats. Additionally, a religious artifacts collection, animal trophies from Africa, tribal stories from around the world, and American heirlooms relics on display makes it a popular tourist attraction in Kentucky.

The hotel is situated in the gorgeous Daniel Boone Forest area along the highway. Furthermore, it is close to many top attractions in Williamsburg among them the Holy Bay Marina and Alpine Recreation Area.

Guests to this hotel really love and appreciate the impeccable services by the warm and amiable staff. The immaculately kept rooms, lip-smacking bites, and never-failing daily housekeeping all add to the enjoyable stay.

The pool is housed in a separate building a walk away from the lobby and dining room which guests find inconveniencing. Further there are no restrooms in the swimming pool area.

Some of the appliances in some rooms require an overhaul. For instance, hairdryers tend to malfunction rather frequently while the air conditioning units are noisy and not always up to the task.

Some rooms lack basic facilities such as tables. Guests who have stayed in rooms close to the elevator and the ice-machine have complained of excessive noise filtering into the rooms which points to inadequately sound-proofed walls.
