One of the most commonly reported highlights of Culver House is its location. Previous guests have loved being so close to the beach and enjoyed the sea views and the coastal walks. Guests also mention that there are excellent dining spots near the hotel.
Previous guests have rated the quality of the accommodation on offer here as excellent. The apartments are found to be spacious and exceptionally well equipped with extras such as NOW TV. Reviews suggest that you'll want for nothing in these luxurious apartments.
If you want to take a holiday with your dog in tow and don't want to skimp on standards, the Culver House Hotel is an excellent choice. The staff is found to be very dog-friendly and the wooden floors in the apartments mean that doggy smells are rarely encountered.
Although the apartments at this hotel are consistently found to be of an excellent standard, a number of guests mention that the exterior of the property has not received the same attention. Some guests were quite worried when they saw the outside of the hotel although, to be fair, the grounds do not reflect the overall quality.
Guests have found that getting a mobile signal here can prove tricky. However, the owners provide a mobile phone in each room (presumably on one of the stronger networks). Also, several guests encountered issues with the Wi-Fi, although this is not a regular concern.
A small number of guests mention that they found the steps to their apartment steep and narrow. The owners are happy to help with luggage but less mobile guests may still struggle. Book early to secure a ground floor apartment if this will be a problem.
