This is something that the hotel needs to address. Many visitors were unimpressed with the lift service. They advised that it was too slow and in some cases, it was quicker to use the stairs in the hotel, than the lift. More alarming is that others stated the lift doors didn’t stay open for a long enough time to allow travellers to get in, sometimes closing unexpectedly. This is unacceptable, as someone could get hurt if the lift door closes on them too quickly.

Some guests to Sercotel Cristina Las Palmas were dismayed with the state of their rooms, remarking that the room décor was disappointing with an outdated theme and the rooms were in need of a makeover.

There were a number of complaints about the swimming pool. Some travellers remarked that the swimming pool was not heated and the area surrounding it was unappealing.
