Hotel Crest Inn Suites & Cottages (Saratoga Springs, USA)

Toilet rolls are not 'premium' in quality; they are at a premium and limited to part rolls left by and probably supplied by previous guests! It doesn't, then, take long to realise that any thought of clean sheets, complimentary toiletries or even just plain old soap, is pure fantasy. Yes, they've got air conditioning, but it's hanging off the wall and makes a constant and worrying noise. Exterior doors are glass based and are of advantage only to any passing 'Peeping Tom'.

Accumulated over long periods of time, leaking pipes and showers and generally shoddy maintenance, results in dampness, wet floors and unimaginably horrid smells. Hugely popular with an ever expanding bug and mosquito population, there is nothing here that has any appeal whatsoever to even the most easy going paying guest.

Rooms aren't cleaned at all and all the indications are that the process was minimal following the departure of the previous guests. Consequently, walk barefoot on the floor and you'll end up with filthy feet! Beds are uncomfortable but, in this motel and with so many awful faults, uncomfortable beds become almost a 'plus' point!
