The free airport shuttle is a real bonus, but not to be confused with that to the Marriott Courtyard South Center Hotel. Climb on the wrong one at your peril and prepare for untold logistical problems. The drivers are helpful and friendly, just get clarification from them.
If planning a trip to Seattle center, or/and the ferry terminal ... get the 'free' shuttle to the airport and hop on the train! Simple! *Same thing in reverse when coming back!
Yes, there's a train that rattles past occasionally, but it does so very quickly and can't be described as an inconvenience. Certainly not when set against the real advantages of this cost-effective hotel; cleanliness, friendly staff, cozy bar with a fireplace - and Starbucks.
Given the hotel's location and the entire reason for it being here is the proximity to the airport; it's disappointing that the shuttle service is unreliable and a real let down.
Dinner at the hotel is fine and augmented by the Starbucks factor. At the top end of the day, breakfast is a less than happy affair with staff in panic trying to defy reality and supply guests with volumes of food which ran out ages ago.
Decor and furnishings represent a step back in time + are not in line with what is reasonably expected from a hotel such as this. If you need any further evidence; the refrigerator (old!) cuts out for no reason and then proceeds to make the contents uneatable. The air conditioning is either on or off, with nothing in between. It also makes one heck of a noise!
