Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Troy (Troy, USA)

The lobby and common areas are very pleasant and relaxing. They have couches for lounging and there is bar service. The decor is very modern and upscale and the whole area invites guests to hang out instead of check out.

The guest rooms are also nicely laid out with attention to the small details. The decor is modern, there are plenty of towels, and electric outlets are plentiful. Everything looks and feels fairly new.

There are so many restaurants and shops within walking distance that finding food and fun is easy to do. The hotel is just off the main road in Troy and convenient for business.

The hotel doesn't serve breakfast, so guests will have to find their own meals. The Bistro restaurant onsite is very slow in service and also rather expensive.

The magnetic key cards routinely don't work and guests have to constantly go through the hassle of returning to the lobby at inconvenient times to get it refitted. The hotel also has thin walls and guest conversations from neighboring rooms and hallways are be easily heard. Another irritation is the limited parking onsite.

The front desk is often left unattended, causing needless delays when checking in and out. During very busy times, there are frequent room mistakes and billing errors that take extra time and effort to sort out.
