The Courtyard Buffalo Amherst is located off Interstate 290 in Buffalo, thus guests staying at the hotel are at a convenience to travel to places easily. The magnificent Niagara Falls is close by. The downtown Buffalo is only about 20 minutes from the hotel. The place is a shopper's delight with the Boulevard Mall, Walden Galleria and many plazas present in between within six miles from the hotel. Guests can treat themselves to gourmet meals with several restaurants including Duff's Famous Wings within a mile from the hotel.

The 108 rooms spread over four floors are all contemporary with luxury amenities like plush mattresses and soft cotton sheets. Work areas are furnished with large desk, ergonomic chairs and ottomans. Arm chairs are also present in the rooms. Bathrooms have double vanities. All rooms are equipped with satellite flat screen TVs, minifridges and coffeemakers. Suites have microwaves too.

The hotel has an indoor pool and a spa tub plus a fitness room. A business center for guests on work with computer stations plus printers and a meeting room is featured. A courtyard outdoors and a living room style lobby where coffee or tea is served with the morning's newspaper are present. A sundry shop is present as well and a bistro style restaurant serving meals of American inspired cuisine and drinks like Starbucks coffee and cocktails. Airport shuttle, parking onsite and Wi-Fi throughout the building are free amenities.

Guests allotted rooms beside the exit door are not happy as it is right across the hall where all night parties take place. The noise is far too disturbing to get a good night's sleep.

Most guests feel that breakfast being charged by the hotel is not value for the money they pay. The choice of breakfast items is not great either.

Guests miss a changing room with shower near the pool area.
