The hotel is located just off the highway and just a short walking distance from Governor's Square Mall where there are a variety of different shops and a multiplex cinema. There is also a Walmart Supercenter nearby and lots of bars and restaurants. It is only around 15-minutes' drive away from the center of Clarkesville where there is a great deal to see and do.

The facilities at the hotel will help to keep you occupied throughout the day. There is a pool and a fitness center for the more active guest and should you wish to sit back with a good book to read then these are available to borrow in the lobby where you also grab yourself some of the complimentary cookies.

There is a wide selection of items available for breakfast with the healthy options such as fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal and also a cooked option with the usual sausage, bacon, hash browns etc. Belgian waffles with a choice of different toppings are offered as well as a choice of different juices and hot drinks.

Reviews from previous guests report that the rooms can feel dark and dingy and need an update. They also mention issues with cleaning and housekeeping. The hotel is currently undergoing a renovation and some of these issues should be resolved.

According to previous guests, the staff working at the front desk are not very helpful in recommending local restaurants or knowledge of the local area, which is something that you would usually expect from a hotel.

The thin walls mean that you may be able to hear other guests in the corridor or from neighboring rooms especially if there are noisy children as can happen sometimes.
