Many previous guests have booked this hotel as they didn't want to pay the more expensive rates of hotels in the center of Boston. It is just half an hour away from Boston so not very far away, but not as expensive. There are also many different shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance and the center of Brockton is only a short drive down the highway.

As soon as you arrive at the hotel you are warmly greeted by the lobby which has an inviting fireplace and seated area. There is complimentary coffee and fresh cookies available for you to enjoy after your travels.

There is something to suit everyone's taste at breakfast time with cooked options or a continental offering. The food is constantly replenished so you don't have to worry about missing out if you get there later than others and it is all included within the price.

Some rooms here are smoking so it is advisable to request a non-smoking room in advance. Unfortunately there have been some previous guests who found themselves in a smoking room and were unable to change. They reported the room as being very smelly with the smell of smoke permeating the fabric of the furniture and the bed which was very unpleasant.

Many negative reviews have reported that the rooms are rather dirty and are not well maintained. This includes dirty bed linen, hair in sinks and on pillows, cracked walls and general disrepair to fixtures and fittings.

The staff working on the front desk have been described as rude and unhelpful. Guests feel that they are not given a hospitable welcome and that they don't take it upon themselves or go out of their way to resolve any issues which may arise.
