Located along the south coast of Koh Tao island, Coral View Resort offers 3-star, beach front accommodation Three styles of rooms are available, traditional island style huts nestled amongst the trees, beach side rooms with a private balcony and chalets overlooking the sea. All rooms include a fridge, in-room safe, mosquito screen and en suite bathroom. Resort facilities include laundry service, tours and ticket assistance, and free self parking. There is an on-site beach bar and guests are also offered an area shuttle service for a surcharge. The resort has an on-site restaurant, the Coral View Restaurant, which serves Thai and western cuisine. Coral View Resort is located on Sai Daeng beach and local activities include snorkelling, scuba diving and kayaking. Chalok Viewpoint and Mae Haad Pier are within five-minutes’ drive.

Located on a part of the island away from the main tourist area, Coral View Resort provides a quiet and secluded environment for a relaxing holiday. Guests have access to a private beach and great views of Shark Island across the water. For other activities, snorkelling and scuba lessons can be arranged via the resort. Many guests were also excited to report shark sitings.
The rooms are spacious and clean as well as being well presented with their own unique furnishings depending on the style of room chosen. All guests enjoyed views of the sea from either their seaside facing rooms.
The staff are friendly and attentive as well as being knowledgeable about the island and the local activities available. Most staff speak English and are able to assist with providing tourist information and booking activities.
Some guests complained that the rooms are not air conditioned which was uncomfortable during hot days. Other guests reported that they were able to upgrade their accommodation to rooms which were equipped with air conditioning.
The resort can be accessed by taxi, however some guests found this to be expensive if you wish to travel into town each day. Scooters can be rented, however the resort as well as other guests recommend that you view the roads before making a decision as they are steep and can be dangerous especially at night or if transporting luggage.
The beach is a mixture of sand and rough pieces of coral. It is possible to find a patch to lie on though some guests found it uncomfortable. The water is also shallow and rocky.
