Guests like the location of this B&B because it is just a short walk from central Galway where there are dozens of bars, restaurants, museums, entertainment venues and eclectic shops. Galway Bay and many of the area's beaches, as well as most of the popular tourist attractions the city has to offer, are close at hand which guests found convenient.
Guests appreciated the attitude of the warm, friendly owner who was obviously glad to have them . She is happy to accommodate most any request and can easily point guests in the direction of local shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues which guests found helpful. This it made it easier to find their way around Galway and to the many local attractions.
Guests found that the rooms and bathrooms were super clean and tidy. They enjoed a good night's sleep because of the comfortable beds.
Some guests found that the rooms here are on the small side and that the bathrooms are small as well. This was problematic for those travelling with more than one person as they had a lot of luggage in tow and had no extra room to manoeuvre.
Although the rooms are clean guests commented that they are in need of an update. Furnishings and carpeting that have seen better days are among the worst offenders.
Some guests were surprised that they needed to be at the ready with cash when staying here as this establishment does not accept credit cards. This proved to be inconvenient for some.
