The staff here are fantastic and can never do enough to make your stay an enjoyable one. They always have a friendly smile for you and many have been mentioned by name for their constant hard work and polite and courteous nature.
In some areas of the hotel it is starting to look quite tired and dated and in need of a refurbishment or at the very least a really thorough deep clean as the carpets are quite dirty and worn through in places and in rooms the bed linen is old and stained.
Although dogs are allowed here for an additional charge it isn't the ideal place for them to stay as there isn't really anywhere to walk them within the hotel's grounds.
There have been reports by previous guests that there are ants in some of the rooms and they were found crawling on the desk and all along the windows.
