Hotel Comfort Suites Gastonia - Charlotte (Gastonia, USA)

Guests reported that due to the large size of the rooms at Comfort Suites Gastonia, the luxurious bathrooms and the comfortable beds, it felt like they were staying in a luxury suite rather than a budget hotel room.  Also reported was a high standard of cleanliness and new and properly-working appliances.

From start to finish and across all departments, staff members are welcoming, helpful and friendly at all times.  Guests reported that staff members have no problem answering questions and providing directions and suggestions on things to see and do, they accommodate special requests, they are always smiling and engaging guests in polite conversation  and they genuinely care about the comfort and safety of guests.

Guests reported that this hotel is located in a nice, safe area that is easy-to-find and is located close to many services and attractions such as restaurants, malls, boutique shops and museums.

Not only is breakfast served on flimsy, cheap foam plates, the food itself is of low quality with overly salted eggs, stale bread and overly ripe bananas.

Guests reported that the walls at this hotel can't be very soundproof because they could hear everything going on in nearby rooms and in the corridors such as people walking, loud conversations, doors opening and closing and loud televisions.  There have also been reports that the air conditioning units are very loud.

Although the rooms are advertised as non-smoking, some guests reported being able to smell cigarette smoke in their room and it seemed to be coming through vents that must have lead to the area outside where people smoke.
