Hotel Comfort Inn Tacoma (Tacoma, USA)

This hotel is located just off the highway making it very easy to find, yet it is surprisingly quiet inside. Nearby there is a variety of restaurants, a cinema and gas station and everything you need for a short stay.

There is a swimming pool on-site which is well maintained and the perfect place to relax after a long day traveling or exploring the area.

The public areas and guestrooms are all kept very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is served on-site and there are a range of menu items to choose from.

There have been past reviews stating that the hotel is starting to look tired and in need of a refurbishment. There have been unconfirmed reports that renovations have recently taken place throughout the property.

The size of the parking lot is not the problem it is the spaces themselves. They must have been designed for the smallest cars and if you drive a larger vehicle the spaces are quite tight to get into. Lighting could also be improved throughout the parking lot to make it feel safer, some guests have said it is not the best area with words such as “sketchy” and “rough” used to describe it.

Noise does travel throughout the hotel, so if there are noisy guests in other rooms or in the corridors this sound does travel into your guestroom. Some rooms are quieter than others, and if you are unlucky enough to be overlooking the fast food restaurant next door you may be able to hear vehicles pulling into the lot there. The air-conditioning units in the guestrooms are also rather noisy.
