This locale is in great proximity to Patriots Point Maritime Museum and Mount Pleasant Pier., with a well-maintained exterior/grounds, on-site laundry facilities, and excellent security on patrol of the parking area. A delightful free breakfast is served daily on the premises - including the basics as well as hot options like biscuits and gravy, grits, eggs, bacon and waffles. You may need to show tickets for breakfast, and you may not be allowed to take your breakfast to your room (It may depend on who is supervising the breakfast area!) Don't be surprised to find fresh cupcakes or cookies served in the afternoon! Some have purchased hotel packages with "park/cruise" options where they left their vehicle parked on-site while they enjoyed a cruise - (ask about check-in times against your anticipated return times-these don't always match).

Friendly and efficient staff will dazzle you from arrival to departure. They'll go above and beyond if you need help with anything - even if it's a problem they didn't create. They'll just jump right in and help you solve it anyway! The fresh-baked cookies, cupcakes and/or beverages they serve in the lobby are a lovely touch.

You'll find the standard features in these rooms, with microwaves and refrigerators, flat screen televisions, decent air conditioning (although perhaps a bit noisy for some) and free Wi-Fi. Check the lobby for occasional free beverages or snacks.

Needs a refurb, especially the décor and bathroom fixtures. A fresh coat of paint would do wonders!

The room telephones may not work, and Wi-Fi might be slow.

Some have noted an odd aroma permeating the premises - others identified it as mildew. Take a peek prior to booking if possible to make your own assessment.
